About

Here at ASSIST PROJECT, we are driven by a single goal; to inspire our youth, the future leaders and problem solvers. Our organization is based on the philosophy that receiving the ultimate GOOD is to PASS THE GOOD. Our mission is to engage all areas of community in our process, bridging elite role models of today with our youth to further reward all efforts in good.

Our beliefs are represented in our logo; a boomerang concept showing that to PASS THE GOOD will ultimately return the good, giving positivity to both doer and receiver. The circular design attached represents the continuous nature in the life cycle in pattern and repetition.

PASS THE GOOD

Our slogan reiterates our mission. It's that simple. Like a pass that assists to win the game, we strive as a broad team, to PASS THE GOOD, to win by assisting our communities and aiding in the development of character.

Overview

As a high school based developing nonprofit, we are specifically targeting student athletes, ALTHOUGH, expansion and inclusivity are active components to our organization. While our first trial year will involve student athletes from the sport of basketball, we will expand to other sports as we develop.

Essentially, we are placing a competitive element towards community outreach. The high school that achieves the most service hours collectively will win the honor of hosting a ALL STAR game that will include college/pro athletes/retired athletes and/or celebrity athletes, whom will volunteer to play with the leading scorers in community service hours from ALL participating high schools.

Both student athletes and non-student athletes can participate for their school, scholarship opportunities, and other incentives.

“Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.”

Developing our App

Proper documentation of service hours and score standings off all participating students will be reported and listed within our ASSIST APP. Using the App, participants will have easy access to a calendar of volunteer events from other students and nonprofits, and the ability to promote their own created event.
